Jack Johnson and Joanne de Jager are professional dancers and qualified coaches with extensive experience teaching Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue.
With more than 40 years of combined dance experience, they have trained and competed throughout Australia and internationally, represented Australia at World Championships, and continue to train and compete at professional level.
Jack and Joanne coach dancers across all levels, from complete beginners and social dancers through to medal students and competitive Ballroom dancers. Their coaching combines strong technical knowledge with practical competitive experience, with lessons tailored to the individual goals and experience of each dancer.
They are passionate about developing dancers for the long term, focusing on strong fundamentals, movement, partnering, musicality and performance as well as competition preparation and choreography.
Jack and Joanne are the principals of Bunbury Dance Club and Perth Dance Club, where they coach adults and children and provide pathways from learning to dance through to medal examinations and competitive Ballroom Dancing.
They also work with competitive couples and individuals through private coaching, helping dancers prepare for competitions at recreational, graded and championship level.
Jack and Joanne continue to invest in their own development through regular training with leading coaches in Australia and internationally, bringing this knowledge and experience back to the dancers they teach.
